On February 1, 2019 Sreeram Kaithali Narayanan started as a PhD student at the Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University.
Sreeram Kaithali Narayanan received his engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering from Anna University, India in 2005. He worked for more than 10 years in various industries including room acoustics before pursuing his master degree in Engineering Acoustics at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), which he received in August 2018. His master thesis focused on understanding the effect of head-movement in sound field auditory steady-state measurements, which is an objective measurement proposed to be used clinically in hearing aid fitting validation in infants. From September 1, 2018 to January 23, 2019 he worked as a research assistant at Acoustic Technology Group at DTU.
The interest in clinical audiology research motivated by his master thesis and wish for the right exposure to the clinical environment in Denmark made Sreeram apply for this position in the BEAR project.
In the BEAR project, Sreeram Kaithali Narayanan will primarily work with the challenges relating to populations with low benefit of hearing aids rehabilitation.
Welcome, Sreeram!
